SECRET MANAGEMENT :))))
Just wanna share some aspect relating to "secret". I've heard ppl say, "nothing is a secret", "Don't share secret, not even with one's wife". If she knew it, that's not her fault anyway.
In today's world, information in your computer is not safe either. Hackers can run malicious program to sniff for openings at any available ports and go for information useful to them.
The Secret agent have means to collect, intercept information through the world wide web by means of sophisticated hacking tools, filters, code decryptor/encryptor, spywares to obtain information from any on line computers and servers.
What you & I wrote on facebook is also subjected to that.
The best way to keep you out of this is to refrain from going on-line with critical data linked to your system.
If you downloaded pornographic or any illegal stuff from the web, DO NOT THINK THAT IT IS A SECRET!!. The electronic trail & log are still kept to tell someone (if required). Thus with the aid of specific programs, details as to behaviour pattern of internet users can easily be determined. The behaviour pattern or rather called browsing behaviour are secretly kept and sold to user to assist them in such thing as marketing (going after customers) and variety of other uses.
Some amateur virus creator who cause world wide havoc can also be traced through these electronic trail & brought to justice.
The American are so advanced in utilizing the world wide networking to obtain information. Information which once need the physical presence of a person now can be obtained accurately through the networks. They almost have the complete information about all countries of the world at the pentagon. They have "little Malaysia" there as well. Information about millitaries, economic datas & statistic are easily available. Information as to the detail physical feautures or terrains of a country can be made available to a very precise degree through satellite cameras and so on.
The question here is, What secret must be kept in a safe place away from people who want to access them?.
Another big question and a cause of worry and concern to us in today's electronically interconnected world is about our county's secret which is maintained and kept "safe" under the OSA(Official Secret Act) . How safe is it?. A person may be guilty of the act if he exposed classified documents. What about if one fail to keep it safe from hackers or sniffer who manage to get information in a manner not specified in the Act, i.e through electronic means? The Malaysian Communication & Multimedia Commission Acts 1998 may be able to deal with negligence but to know or prove that such secret has fallen into the hands of the intruders is a difficult one? Now, the keepers as well as the thief go scot free and leave our nation to all sorts of vulnerability.
Now friend keep the secret where it is safe!! :))
